Well, it's official, the loan has been applied for for a new car, I'm trying to convince the wife to get a TJ-TW wagon, she keeps looking at Fords and Holdens!!!! I've told her to go Mitsubishi, Toyota or Mazda.
My car will either be stripped and sold off in parts, or.
If possible I'll pull all the swappable parts off and put them on our TH including the 5-speed.
Does anyone know if the auto from the TH will go back into the TF? (3.5L TH 3.0L TF)
And are the plugs the same as these will need to be reconnected (TF still has the auto ECU)
If so, I can then try to sell my car as a whole car and not have to worry about sending it to the wreckers which may be difficult, I really don't want a car sitting in the front or back yard.. Another suggestion is to sell mine with the 5-speed and buy a new conversion kit..
Of course it would be pretty stock once I pull all the goodies off so maybe only worth around 2k if I'm lucky.
