Missus just came home from the shops telling me that "im going to kill her"... so after she showed me the EXTREME gutter rash all the way around the rear drivers side rim... i burried her out the backyard.
My question is where do i get it repaired and how much would it cost roughly to fix?? When i say ''extreme'', i mean its bad

You buried her in the back yard? A bit extreme, I thought. Who is going to cook your tea for you now?
Gutter rash . . . really depends how bad it is. A place that sells shiny wheels might be able to point you in the right direction, but it needs to be looked at by an expert. If it is really bad replacing it is the only option.

Pics would be good... I had mine fixed up by a mobile paint repair guy, did a great job for $80. That was on a painted alloy though... Yours looked like a polished lip (Looking at your avatar)? That would require a lot more work...
But yeah, pics!

Just as a reference, I had all 4 of my rims straightened and the lips cleaned up for around $520.00 Just try any local rim repair, over in WA we use a place called Alliance.

lol i meant to say burried not burrowed.
Yeh i have 19s with a chrome dished lip. I dont have any pics but the rash extends right around the whole circle of the rim and its deep in some places. It wouldnt be so bad if they were old but they are only a few months old.
P.s i can cook myself and do it most of the time anyway so she stays burried. Just need someone to iron my clothes lol
Only place I know of is http://www.nealewheels.com.au/
Good news! It's only a couple of Kms from Rookwood cemetery. :)

Im not sure if you have a polished machined or chrome lip.
If it's chrome you need to buy a new rim as it's not repairable but if it's polished machined painted or whatever there is plenty around some even p/up & deliver back your rims.
Just thinking quickly there's one in Warick Farm,Ingleburn & Blacktown. Pm me if you want any details of them.

.......OUCH..........just wondering if your rims are still available mate, how much a replacement would cost...could be an option if repair is'nt feasable. (was one of the reasons i bought a set of five when i got mine in case of such a happening)
Having the nice chrome -dished rims makes me hyper careful and i'm for ever checking for stone chips , but they sure look awesome when they're clean.
If ur anything like me, you'll be be an unhappy chappy until it's fixed.......hope u find a quick solution....

Anyone know what you'll be paying for a fix on a painted rim that's been rashed?
