i've got an RCA lying dormant from my hu down to the centre console in anticipation for that new amp and some nice big subs i might go check it and make sure it aint touchin nothin.

probleem.... is alphine gear =]

are you running rca's and spekaer wires down seperate side of car from power wires?

did u go budgo and get the rca with the remote wire down the centre?

are your gains too high on the amp and its distorting?

gains shoul only be matched to the input gain....
if u'r deck is putting out 4volts then the gain should be set to 4 volts.......
from memory alphine amps is at the minimum is the 4volt input

my RCA's and speaker wires run from the HU straight to the centre console then under the drivers seat where my amp is, likewise the rear speaker wires run straight under the back seat to the centre console then to the amp.

I did go budgo and i got one of them RCA's with the remote wire down the centre but i didn't use it i just cut the ends off and run a fresh wire.

I think you might be on to something with that gain thing though i have my gain turned right up because it makes it louder mmmmmm, i guess that ain't the right thing to do hey. The gain adjustment only has a min and a max on the V12 amp i have so i'm not exactly sure where to put it, i'll have a fiddle and see how i go. The headunit puts out 4 volts though, can i use a multimeter to check this output?????
