im having trouble with my lights
the parkers work, headlights work, brake lights, etc but my dash lights dont
i thought there was something wrong with the headlight switch so i replaced that but it kept blowng fuses. i removed the parkers, tail lights, and instrument cluster but still it kept blowing fuses.

any info would be great guys as i cant really drive at night (guess the speed :S)

your dimmer is dimmed? lol

check that the connection to the dimmer is fine cos youll find if thats not connected the dashlights wont work

Which Fuse is it?? What else is on the Same Circuit??

The fuse that keeps blowing is for the tailight cuircuit which also runs the dash lights.
Funny thing is is I use the P switch on the dash the tail lights all work OK..... so I'm guessing they are all OK and no shorts and the actual short is in the dash light area. And yes the dimmer is fine.... i checked.
Have also tried changing the light switch assembly bu this did not fix either..

I'm guessing it will be a short in the dash light circuit..... but if someone has had this before and can help it would be appreciated

is there an after market headunit? if there is check the wiring at the back sometimes people dont hook the dash light wire up and leave it hangin around
the P switch parkers run a separate circuit which is why that would still work but thats isolated from the inside dash lights so guess would be your right a short inside the car somewhere

also do you have a trailer plug dodgy/bad wiring can also cause this
