Hey all i want to know with my TE magna Cluster needles is there a way to make them brighter or change the colour? i put in some ultra blue leds and everything is good so far but due to the needles being orange they are not as bright to see anymore. can you make them white for example or change the colour of just the needles?

I havn't tried myself, but apparently you can just take the the needles off, rub the paint off the bottom of the needle and re paint it a different colour. If you pull the cluster appart take a photo of where the needles are first as it's the best way to get it all back in the right spots.

you can buy EL needles but they are about $120ish iirc and i couldnt vouch for the quality as ive never used one.

On my CRX i got UV painted needles, i have a black UV light shining on it, and DAMN IT IS BRIGHT and a VERY VERY nice blue.
I wanted to do this to my magna, but I cant find any place in Australia which sells the transparent UV paint.
In fact i tried to order some a few days ago from an australian computer mods shop but they said all their paint went off.

try computer case mod suppliers - anywhere computer accessories stock it they should be able to connect you with a supplier for it

so does any 1 have DIY guide to sanding the needles?
