Has only done, or does anyone know of someone who has, put a independant rear suspention setup in a 1st gen?

anyone have ideas or suggestions on this also

looking for more things to do, so far ive made the car a 4g63, fitted power windows, might do digidash and cruise soon to. and its got a 2.5" mandrel system, turbo will be fitted at a later date depending on how much better i can make it handel.
also anyone done any sort of strange engine convertion, eg changed the way the motor mounted to be like a evo4 onwards and get rid of the tourque steer?

yet mainly after info on irs if anyone has any

why would you bother??
i think galant version of our cars came with irs in the hardtop model
but springs shocks and a good rear sway bar will have you riding on rails :)

I realise the stock setup had a decent potential, im mates with another of the first gen guys on here who has managed to make his wagon handel wonderfully and feel great. yet i like a chalange, and depending on the setups that might work also might open up a way to get a diff in the back of it that isnt a live axle, plus the stock setup lacks toe and camber adjustments

Fair enough! something ive never seen was fwd HG HH galant awd conversion as far as i know the gen1 runs the same platform as the fwd galant so would be worth looking into something like that?
