Hey Guys n Gals, Currently having a problem with a noise in my stereo when i turn the Head Unit off, either by removing the face, turning off the ignition or turning the unit off via the Head Unit/Remote. When you turn the head unit off a loud disortion noise is played through the speakers for around 1 second, sorta like a banging zapping noise???

I am running my new Jvc deck to my boss amps, then to my two subs, 5" splits and 6" 4 ways.

have you got a remote wire from your head unit to your amp?????
it might not be connected properly???

yea my remote wire runs from my Hu to amp1 then piggy backed off amp1 to amp2, could this be the problem? the amps turn on fine so the wire must be connected.

use to happen when i had the jc kds7895 (something like that) mp3 deck 45 x4

unfortunatly i didnt know what caused it, fortunatly it did no damage (had problem occuring for around a year) that was in the pintara....never got it fixed..sold stereo..soz

Are you running RCA's from your HU to your amp or are you running high level inputs?

Yea i am running rca's from my HU to my amps, but i have to change the way they are set up when i get a free weekend, i need to run 2 more sets from my Hu as i upgraded decks from 2 preouts to 6. Maybe it might fix itself then??? any more ideas would be great :D
