Hi i thought id like to share my sucess with using mitsubishi galant rocker arms instead of the sigma ones on the Ts magna.

I worked it out to be approx 1.7 to 1 ratio so i get nearly 20% more lift. With the std cam im getting estimated 10% power gain mostly above 4-6000 but has more mid range throttle response with little to no loss in torque down low and maye slightly more possibly placebo.

cut off about 1/2 a second up to 100 and noticable more above i wont say what speed.
this cost me a total of $25 and i know its not normally done as im using solid tappets on a hydraulic roller cam but ill be getting a proper stage 1 cam in a fewmths so if the cam gets worn oh well.

cant be too good on the springs but it rarel;y sees over 4000rpm as its a torquey motor not a high rever so the extra lift gives it more usable power over a wider range.

Checked for valve spring bind? If the coils hit each other when the valve is pushed down an extra 20% you will get shock waves through the drive train and either break the spring or snap the top off the valve. Doesn't seem worth the effort really. A roller/hydraulic lifter cam is very harsh on solid rocker arms, I imagine reliability will be quite poor.

Verify you don't have valve to piston interference. I used the 3.0 v-6 rocker arms on my 2.6 which increased lift by over .050" however all 8 valves nicked the pistons. I am running a custom ground cam. With the increased ratio, my total lift was .547". I had no problem with coil bind on the stock valve springs.
