hey just looking thru the workshop manual at the wire diagram for the elec seat and noticed it run thru a fusable link
can someone tell me where one would find this fusable link?

There are the large fuses in the fuse box under the bonnet, usually 40 or 60 amps. It might be one of those.
Others are in the actual wiring. Trace the seat wiring back and have a good look. Generally they are near the battery if not in the fuse box.
