After a bit of research, I'm going to take a guess. I reckon they would have to be cast, the thickness of the spokes speaks volumes about the strength of the wheel, as forged are much stronger than cast. many aftermarket single/multiple piece forged wheels have thinner spokes (less weight while retaining strength).

And seeing as Cast wheels are much cheaper than Forged, car manufacturer wouldn't give you expensive, single piece, forged rims with fat spokes now, would they.

But the question is now, are they vacuum or gravity cast.

I've not heard of powdercoating weakening wheels, but think about spraying 2 pac instead- it's easy to touch up where powdercoat you can't, it's still heavy duty and a full range of colours if you are after some wild finish. Also should cost less to prep, and you don't have to coat all the inside of the wheels.

They are not just 'cheap' factory rims, they are made by Roh which is a premium brand who dont make shit, unlike some of the aftermarket aussie brands where its all made in china.

Shoot an email to Roh they might be able to tell you

considering they sit in an oven for 8 hours at 500c, then i am sure they will be fine for a powdercoat procedure
