Been looking at a Redback 63mm [2 1/2"] Sports Exhaust System but was wondering if any has or has HAD one and what they thought....the only that i didnt light was one tailpipe but i know there are ways around it...but yeah the exhaust it self im just wondering what they are like..

I cant speak for the full exhaust, when i wanted a louder note i just replaced the rear muffler with a high flow Lukey. Only cost about $150 and sounds pretty nice.

hmm i just saw this one on ebay was all not much else but yeah a few people have said that i might even just do that....jusy want a nice sound hahahah got the subs happening but need more lol

Well i love my audio and i got 2 very nice subs and i didnt want something that was going to overshadow my subs so thats why i decided just to get a straight through rear muffler as opposed to a new system, and i am happy with the results.

the redback has nice note and not overly loud, as for the one exhaust tip that you dislike, you can always get the exhaust shop to weld a new on on there for a little extra if you don't like the one redback has on there already, when i had it on my TF, i got a little better performance and better economy as well due to the less restrictive muffler and lightly larger pipe diameter.

sweet did you have the whole system? or just from cat back? just tossing up weather to do the whole lot or part...

As Mike has said. You might as well get the whole thing done while you're at it. Otherwise if you want to do the rest later on you'll pay even more :)

As for the redback system. It's got a nice sound all round, probably a bit too quiet for my liking but, the quietness is mainly just up high in the rev range (probably due to the large rear muffler) - It's got a nice note down low.

Hmmmm maybe i wont go that way.....anyone got any other exhaust systems i want a sound when i open it up a lil :) lol yeah wsa thinking of just going the whole system so much tidier tooo lol

Mine has the MagnaFlow rear a bit louder than the others but more prone to drone if you worry about that.

i like mercury mufflers :D

still have a magna haha prefer the vt tho , magna had mercurys on it thats why i was saying it sounded good

Hmmm, you want it loud but you don't want it to drone? What the, what the?!?!

I say just go for the redback, it's got a nice note. If you want it louder yet just get a muffler cut out :P
Or if you want to have a loud car and don't care about your exhaust, just get a muffler cut out of the middle as it is. Might sound a bit tiny though :P

Bahaha i know hehe didnt realise i went so off track lapse in conerntration hahaha my ex jut bought a 07 lancer and he reckons it flies! he's is quite tooo....really quiet.....i dunno if it has as much engine noise....i like that wif the magna...you put your put down and there is that engine noise.....just no backside noise lol

If you want nothing but the best i would be going pacemaker extractors, magnaflow high flow cat, 2.5" pipe straight through into a magnaflow rear muffler. Will cost a bit though..

haha thats preaty much no exhaust. thats extractors to the cat, then a small resinator with a straight pipe all the way to the back VERY LOUDD. i had to change it as it was like ear piercing. scared the crap out of people tho haha

never got booked ones haha. i NEVER got in trouble in the magna. was awsum cops dont evan look at you haa. except for the day when cops checked my rear tires and tried to tell me i had been doing burnouts. i litteraly called them an idiot explained its front wheel drive. shit they felt like idiots

I took a video the other day of my gf driving off in my car. It sounded fine in real life but she didn't gun it so there's hardly any sound. But my system is: pacemakers extractors, 2.5 inch flex pipe, magnaflow 200cpi high flow cat, redback 2.5 inch cat back, rear redback muffler replaced with a lukey high flow because it's louder than the redback rear muffler. I'll have to get a video of the sound

Yeah I put a redback on my TH 3.5, (to replace a previous sports muffler) and she drives like a pearler. Grunty but not noisy. The startup sound from it is awesome.
