Hi guys, had a quick search but could find anything

Is Texamatic 1888 ok to use in my power steering pump. I'm at a servo and that seems to be all they have in the way of power steering fluid

It says it's SAE10W / Dextron III

Cheers

So if you use the wrong fluid in power steering system will it cause damage? I just did a top up as my power steering system is leaking lol I went into super cheap and bought some sort of power steering fluid lol Yes I'm a noob :(

There is a generic Castrol power steering fluid which is fine, black bottle, red cap, no worries, you can also use DIII and there is something else you can use aswell, say's it in the castrol book hanging up.

Worse comes to worse you can flush your power steering fluid :D

If it's leaking, i think you have bigger things to worry about

Getting fix when it time do the next service. I haven't check the fluid in years, so um I think it a slow leak not to bothered at the moment lol I will fill it back up when the level drops below the max mark as I over filled it, noob mistake :(
