ive just bought a TJ Advance,, where can i get the white VRX backgrouds from for my car,,,,,,,,,,,,

No Idea... I would say they would be a rare item from the wreckers. I doubt youd be able to just get the VRX dial covers, but you would have to get the whole dial...

A company over here in Perth does white dials (with green backlighting) for 3rd gen Magnas.

They aren't the authentic items that you get on a VR-X/Sports obviously but they are great, I've got a set in my car.

I had these in my 2.4. I found they didn't align up properly and the light was uneven. Also the green looked a little dodge. Still an improvement over stock. But I eventually got sick of them and went to stock.

yeah,, i want red back lights like the VRX

im not sure how the VRX ones work.

Something about luminiscent dials.. You dont need to turn on your lights for the backlight to 'glow'

So if you go through a tunnel, they immediately light up..

Dont know if you could do a straight swap over from a vrx to an exec..

actually in Sports and VRX they are always on i.e. as soon you start your engine the dials are on.

its just that during day time you some times dotn notice if they are on or not:)

yeah kewls got it.

they lit up 24/7... and its just the numbers and needles that are lit.
the dials themselves are not luminescant... so at night u cant see they white.

i like the red lit numbers and needles... but im not a fan of the white dials during day time.
