Sorry this is pretty noob question but just double checking whether the light's on third gen 1997 verada are indeed h7 type. i noticed the harness seems to have three prongs suggesting h4, but the actual bulbs only have two prongs. Am about to order some new ones online. Cheers!

Check this thread for all you Headlight related needs - Magna Headlamp FAQ (http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=57256)

Q: What bulbs does Mitsu use and where?

A:
Standard headlamp high beam - H4 55/60W
Standard headlamp low beam - H1 55W
Driving lights - H3 55W (They are actually Foglamps)
Parking lights - H5W (5W)
Parabolic headlamp high beam - H1 55W
Parabolic headlamp low beam - H7 55W
Verada driving lights - H3 55W
Parabolic parking lights - Errr... Good question - I'll have a look. 5W

Make sure they are the right power rating too (55 Watt), 100W globes will probably melt the fitment, as it is not designed for those.

Awesome, h7 it is! Thanks guys. I read the whole aussiemagba headlamp FAQ wiki but didn't realise there was a thread which had that info.

I was going to get osram silverstars on the FAQs recommendation but store doesn't have them. They've got narva blue power aka osram nightbreaker 48535BL. Does anyone have experience with these? They're 3750k which is already much whiter then standard but I hear the silverstars are even whiter 4100k. Is that true?

Ok I've confirmed the silverstars are actually a better colour. Only question is where can I find them? Doesn't look like they have a Narva equivalent. =S

Hey guys, ended up getting Narva Blue powers coz they were on sale (80 bux down to 40) and i didn't want to keep driving around on one headlight whilst waiting for shit to be delivered online. I'm heaps happy with them thus far, much brighter than my previous, and a nicer colour, just hoping they last a while and don't die too quickly.
