Hi,

I'm looking at replacing the right front hub on my 380. Anyone done this themselves? skill level? I'm still trying to track down the elusive driveline noise as per my post "humming sound". Wife drives the car 95% of the time but it really annoys me when I do. Centre and left front bearings replaced by Mitsubishi before they gave up and told me it was the abs pump.

Already have the hub (Japanese)

Cheers,

Steve

I just did the one in my NP Pajero, same style etc... took me an hour, the 380 should be easier... your main problem will be the main castle nut on the drive shaft... I had a 3/4" impat driver, so made it easy as... the next hurdle is getting the bearing/hub out of the hub carier.. the Pajero one needed a good belting to come out.

No, still in warranty but Mitsubishi refuse to fix it. Their warranty doesn't actually cover much as they seem to weasel out of just about everything. I am sick of urguing with them so will have to cough up myself or get rid of the car.We only have one local dealer so I can't take it anywhere else.

Pay $120 and lodge a complaint in teh magistrates court.

Have it served on Mitsubishi Australia.

Then watch what happens.
