found some spots on my driveway, not sure what fluid this is had a quick look, couldnt see any obvious source for the leak

That's fresh colored gearbox oil

dam, thats not good. thats really not good, i wonder where it could be leaking from

hope its just a plug, could it leak out of the drive shaft seals? they looked ok when i installed them.

yes it could possibly leak through the seals. did you put the right amount of oil?

yeah been fine for 1.5 years, well i saw a leak that was dripping from a hose that goes into the firewall. for the heater, tightened the clamps shall see how that goes, i couldnt spot any gearbox leaks, either plugs, drive shaft seals

looks like coolant to me, check hoses, welsh plugs on block etc.
It's coolant for sure, glycol based - oil of any kind has a lower surface tension and will....spread.
If you touch some on your palms and rub your palms together you should be able to see if its water based or oil based fluid. The water will mostly evaporate, the oil will spread in your palms. Or drop some on paper and watch what happens.
