Are the rotors the single and twin pot calipers run on the same size? Got a pair of 4 cylinder non ABS rotors sitting around that can be skimmed. Will they go onto my TS 3.0L with ABS? Should look it up in the manual, but CBF to be honest. lol

No magna ever had 4 piston calipers?!
4cyl IIRC are 254/4mm and V6 are 276mm. All ABS car's were equipped with the 276mm rotors and I'm sure the twin pistons. Need someone to clarify if the ABS car's ever had the single piston option.

Lazy **** :P

Oops! Stuffed up there! lol. Ninja edit coming up! lol Can't change the title though! What was I thinking? lol Well, there are two or 4 pistons altogether! lol

Didn't think they would be the same, bother! I think all ABS TSs had the two piston callipers.

Just to clear things up. Standard single pistons are actually single floating piston which works similarly to v brakes on bikes. The fluid pushes the piston on one side which also pulls in the pads on the other side. twin floating pistons just have two on one side and so on.
Two fixed pistons mean actually having one piston on each side of the rotor and 4 fixed pistons mean two on each side and so on.

You are right Vlad. With the Magna brakes the piston(s) push the pad on one side, and the caliper slides on its guide pins to apply pressure through the pad on the other side. Seeing I pulled both single and twin pot calipers apart 2 months ago to clean them out I should know how many pistons there are in the SINGLE pot and TWIN pot calipers ! lol Brain fade is my only excuse.
