Greetings All.
For my 18th Birthday (20th Of June), I managed to score a Pioneer DEH-P4650MP Head Unit, and to go with this ive decided to buy a set of Pioneer TS-A1655 6.5" 2-Way Speakers. What do you guys think?
Now, heres the hard bit, how to install the damn thing?! First things first, Dash....Ok im having trouble here....Then what? To install the speakers, what do i need to take off?? How??
Thanks All!
Cheers,

Hey Tonba, just went through the same thing over the last few days, I did manage to find some info by doing a search on this forum. A member helped me with the wiring last night on my head unit and I am glad I didn't attempt to do it myself, so if you don't know how, I would strongly recommend against it. Removing the door trims is easy and I am hoping to have a rough guide done in the next 30mins - 1 hour or so. As for the dash, that is a bit trickier to explain, I used my Gregory's manual which seemed to get me out of trouble for the most part.
Oh Happy belated birthday by the way!!!

There are a bunch of 'how to remove the centre console' howtos on the forums already - I know because I started one of them, and I helped answer another. Did you try a search first?
This needs to be a faq item :D

I agree with you! Almost like a beginners section would be handy (for me! lol ) like they have done on the Car Audio Australia forums. Members here might be willing to contribute their knowledge and experience and submit pages to add (I am not trying to suggest making more work for the Managers and Moderators of this forum! *ducks for cover*)
Anyway I have knocked together an ultra quick 'How to' remove the door trim (for Exec TF) if it helps...

Dude, PM me and we can organise a day to get together and do this. Tomorrow maybe? I've got a Gregory's just in case. Anyways, let me know. We can do it at my place, I've got all the stuff here.

i already put a reasonably comprehensive 3rd gen door removal step-by-step in the "Car Audio FAQ" thread. This weekend (hopefully) I gotta pull apart my dash again (it's rattleing since I put in my HU) so I'll do one for that also. I would include pics too cept my digicam "Isn't talking" to my computer atm.

I just did a search and found your entry, sorry about that. I hadn't read that thread before. regards Neil.
Hope you get that rattle! I have one too in one of the doors which I will tackle tomorrow!
