Hi Folks, my Mum's Magna TP Elite digital instrument cluster has died completely and we are struggling to find a replacement. Apparently it has a little man sitting on a couch in the top left hand area (does this make sense to anyone?). Appreciate any leads.

depending where you are in Qld

there is a full elite magna being given away in gympie

or PM old fart he has a digi dash
I have it in brisbane

dont know how much old fart wants for it

so you have to pm him first

then its that cost plus postage

make sure you get one from a TP then as the other models didnt get the climate control display like yours (man on couch lol), the others fit if not, but you need to change a couple of things around

if you have no luck ive got the centre circuit boards for the older models sitting around and ill be taking my dash out this weekend so if you want i can check out if there the same im pritty sure the center boards are the same its just the outers that do the volts, climate(oil pressure), clock and odo that are different

Thanks, but no little man symbol is bit of a road block. Will keep searching though. I have heard there is a company in Sydney that can recondition the clusters, has anyone heard of this?

i realised after i checked my tp one to my old tn one that ive done the swap from the tn to the tp to get the climate control display, you CAN use the older model centre boards however you need to move one wire across from the main display to the warning light plug
take a look a the pic so you can get an understanding of the 3 sections, the center being the driver for the speed tach fuel temp etc which in your case would have died

also have you checked the fuses first? there 2, a 5amp under the bonnet and 10amp in the dash
