ok yesturday car had problems starting
now today went to maccas on the way back the car starting skreaching its nuts off i slowed down then smoke under the bonnet

Wonder why it rubbing so bad wow

can water pump being siezed cause this anyone i got no idea dont want to start car as worried timming belt will snap

research came up could it be power steering pump pully

Looks to be as it's the one at the front end of the left hand side of the engine. Wld u risk driving it to a trusted mechanic or wld you rather get it towed?

well thats what im trying to work out just waiting for mal to have a look at the picks as im already getting parts as the other magna the harmonic balancer shat it self now i got two broken cars crap

thanks mal yeah he reckon possibly a bolt came off into the timing area or
a pully has seized either way not going anywhere soon looks like the poor girl needs a bit of work
going to take harmonic balance of tomorrow and put on my green tj so i have a car to use till i get it all fixed up

mal also reckon its because of the rockers being red ha ha ha good one mal

well i took the harmonic balancer off and got it on the green tj so at least i got a car now
the inner part of the harmonic balance rubber was coming out
will post up when i got parts from mal and mechanic had a look to see what caused this happen

ok all is done
the water pump was siezed solid one pully siezed as well the other not far from it
car has 140k on it was done by mitsi 40k ago not by me looks like they did timing belt and thats it
mechanic could not belive the waterpump so siezed at only 140k
so lucky no other damage thanks to mal supply parts quick was off the road for only a few days
be aware some places will only give warranty if the hydralic tensioner is changed as well
so i got a 100k warranty now
was 280 for labour plus parts not bad really
