Something has been confusing me lately. I'm no suspension expert so that could be why. Does the TJ (specifically the VRX) have IRS? I keep seeing references to independant suspension in the rear without them actually saying IRS?

Here's a quote:
Strut front suspension independent with stabilizer bar and coil springs , multi-link rear suspension independent with stabilizer bar and coil springs

Does anyone know what the story is? Does this mean IRS??

TE magna onwards has independent rear suspension, as most other jap cars do, and the IRS thing is kinda ford and holden term for indepentdent rear suspension in which apparantely new for them, as we all know most of the technologies on these two cars are probably older than you are..... lol

I thought the TE and on Magnas had full independant suspension, as in front and rear?

Yeah that is right. All the Magnas/Veradas from TE/KE onwards have fully inderpendant suspension (front/rear) except wagons which still run the solid beam setup in the rear. Would kill fro IRS in a wagon. The only thing they really lack that you notice.
