Ended up buying a KR ei Verada, Red with 197 on the clock. Always Maintained and in good nick :)
Anyways Just wondering how hard it is to fit climate control in it?. And if possible what will i need to do it. Just another quick question where it has the little back bit above the climate controls are they cup holders?

i did a climate control chang over in my KR but i used parts from a diamante halfcut i had. If you got everything from under the dash from a KS XI you will have everything you need. The climate control equipment is alll electrically driven, where as he KR aircon is all manual twist button/cable sliders. You need everything from under the dash that im aware, luckily though all the mounting holes are the same.

Just another quick question where it has the little back bit above the climate controls are they cup holders?Don't know for certain, but I believe not. But if you can source a Diamante cupholder it should fit there from what I recall.

That strip is a dummy. It does nothing. However, someone here a while ago has managed to retro fit a cup holder from the D into that slot above the cc.

As Lynel has stated you need everything from a KS Verada including the two sesnsors one is located in the headlining near the centre roof light and the other is in the centre of the dash. Also need the power transistor which is mounted in the heater box or the fan will not work properly. You also need to be able to read a wiring schematic because you will need it to marry up the wiring. I split a verada loom to do mine and made up a separate loom to do the conversion. Not for the faint hearted for sure but worth it at least for me. Vlad is correct that strip is just a cover plate. TuffTR has fitted the cup holders from memory and they only fit with the climate control system. Good luck with it and if you need any further info feel free to PM me.

I believe I was the first to do that on my XI, needs to be a model with climate for this to fit, you also need then to do some small mods to the dash

the climate is actually quite easy but you do need the XI harness
