200cpi 2.5" metal cat is the way to go... can be found on ebay or any exhaust shop.. go do your shopping don't expect us to go shopping for you.. expect to pay between $180-$220 for the cat on its own
Some QLd seller on ebay has 200cpi metal cat for $169 posted iirc.
"Steves Rods" or something like that - was linked to in another thread, probably the ebay items thread, go check it out or search ebay.
I've seen extractors for approx $600 FWD and $640 AWD recently - ebay again. May have been HM rather than Pacemaker though.
Happy shopping.

As stated above, give HM a call, they are far superior and often can be picked up cheaper

different design... longer primaries (Pacemakers) vs shorter primaries (HM Headers)
each to their own about being superior......

try matt green i remmeber he was selling some not too long ago only thing wrong with them is that there kinda banged in from being lower hanging due to his car being 3.0l they fit 3.5's aswell
Well ive been looking around. Ive decided i wont an extractor to help top end power. The 3.5l manuals have plenty low end. Im after an extractor that will help top end power. Can anyone help with this please.?

in theory, the short primaries help with top end power, so the HM with the shorter primaries in theory, suits whats you are after

I am pretty sure the short primaries improve low down torque while sacrificing top end power. Long primaries increase top end torque while sacrificing low end torque.

Well i think my magna has proven that pacemakers sure as hell dont hold a 3.5L back from making top end power... In all honesty the actual power difference between long and short pipes on a 3.5L would be SFA in the grand scheme of things. What works on another make/model (example v6 commo) of engine doesnt always apply to the 6G74, our motors like to rev so anything that frees them up just that little bit will help.
Braedz is right. The HMs are designed to improve low to mid range torque. Definitely noticed it on my car.

200cpi=legal
100cpi=technically not legal
100cpi would have a slight flow advantage.

So if cops or watever pull me over i will get done on 100cpi cat?

It's highly unlikely but if you want peace of mind go the 200cpi.
If cops pull you over, you will not get done for a 100cpi cat. How can they tell what it is? It's like having internal engine modifications - invisible to the naked eye.
But! If they pull you into an RTA testing station (and I've seen this happen at the beginning of a very large car cruise) then the RTA guys might stick a sensor up the tail pipe and give you a defect or even pollution fine if the thing is spewing out the wrong kind/amount of pollution. EGRs, Catalytic Converters are all pollution regulation gear and the EPA could issue seriously large fines against anyone who disables or modifies them.
So those are your risks. My question is, what are the gains?...

Depends what kind of torch they use to look down your exhaust and make sure when they start counting the tiny cells one by one to throw them off by shouting out random numbers like 42, 186, and 7.

We liked to do this as the teachers counted us going onto the bus at the start of a school trip.
Another good one was sneaking around and lining up to go in again, they were worried about taking 30 kids and coming back with 29, but coming back with 31 just confused them...

Don't need to make it 2.4 for that, just a bigger turbo.
