Ok, so I've spent most of the day installing my folding mirrors and all was going well till I went to start the car.
I turned the key and it went to crank but stopped of one crank.
I checked all the fuses that I could check, both inside the car and in the engine bay, all are fine.
I then got the Multimeter out and with the help of the tech manual checked each position on the plugs.
I checked with the key in the off and then to ON and it has correct voltage where it needs.
I checked the battery which is also fine.

I still have all interior lights, when the key is turned to ON the dash lights up along with stereo and the like. When the key is removed all interior lights come back on.
I've also noticed that on the dash it now says 4d, telling me it needs resetting, like after the battery has been disconnected(which it hasn't)
I reset it, go to start, doesn't, then shows the 4d again.

I don't think the BEM is fried. It's possible it has somehow dropped the immobiliser transponder codes?

If so I'm hoping it's a case of trucking it to Mitsu and relearning the codes.

Thoughts?

Leaving doors open for long periods (even with the builts in timer), and then operating the thing you have installed to test it lots will not a happy battery make :D

All good,
Me being tired didn't read the voltage on the battery, was flat, used my recently purchased jump starter.
Plus the wife screaming at me cause the car wouldn't start didn't help.

If it is dead cell measure the voltage while cranking the motor, you will see battery volt droping down to almost no voltage :) If it is a dead cell in the battery.
