View Full Version : 3M Di-noc carbon fibre anyone?

Anyone used this before?
I've trialled some CHEAP HONGKONG one that doesnt have the air things and it looks quite good.
Just note, theres an LED shining onto the middle! so it appears to be more shiny and bright than the rest of the car.

Also. at night and no tripod hence the weird angles.

Did it in like 5 minutes because i'm impatient.
But i ordered some genuine 3M ones already, i'll be getting my sister to put it on.
They stretch to most shapes, it actually looks better in real life than the photos. The only reason why i put it on is because i can't find the stock gunmetal colour.

Apparently the BMW M3 doesnt uses something similar.
I mean you wouldn't want too much real CF in your car because it shatters, also, how much lighter is it from plastic?

i want to get some and just go wild, i was thinking of colour coding my mirrors but i think il wrap them in CF instead!

maybe the chorme boot thing and cut the letters out so they stay chorme

Holy crap, this is so going on my roof! From what I've read about Di-Noc, minimum outdoor life is 4 years!

I know of a R35 GTR and BA Falcon Sedan which have had the entire car done in Matte Black...

Nice... I wonder how much work it would be to cover the grill? Not the mesh part, the surround. I reckon it would be a bit of work, but would look pretty good I reckon.
