I have heard that on TP Magna's , that if you change the ECU you have to match the numbers, what is that all about.
Cheers Shane.

you need to find an ECU to suit a TP
it has the power/ economy chips
I have one out of a TP sedan that is for sale plus postage
or you can contact carcycle (NSW) he was selling first gen stuff

Power/Economy was for automatic models, and is a feature of the TCU - not ECU.
All ECUs are all the same between auto/manual TN/TP.

ok I need to know
can you find that information about TN and TP ECU being the same
is the manual ECU the same as the Automatic ECU
do the TN and TP ECUs share the same diagnostic patterns ?
got the TN ECI multi for auto and manual wiring diagram
my pages for the TP wiring diagrams MULTI ECU is missing
So I need a copy of wiring diagram showing
TP ECI multi auto
TP eci Multi manual
point of comparison
On the four cyl second gen auto with power/ economy wiring diagram
the TCU and ECU has seven wires running between them for the automatic
the manual ECU has different wiring pattern
with thanks
