Hey guys,

having an odd recurring problem with my coil lead...

Where it plugs onto the distributor it has been popping off every so often.

It doesnt pop off regularly, rather every 2 months or so but its just odd and inconvenient.
ive used a flat blade screwdriver to release the air and made sure its on tight but it still persists.

no other leads do it, and the last time it happened i was on the riverside expressway with nowhere to pull over..

any help would be greatly appreciatted.

the leads, dizzy cap and rotor are still very new.

Inside the lead you will see some tangs that are supposed to hold the lead in place. Maybe you are not pushing the end in far enough. If still sloppy,bend the tangs out a bit to give them more grip. Failing that, add some silastic down the hole on the cap, then push the lead in. It won't move after that. lol Tape the lead to the aircon hose too.
