this is probably already out there somewhere but im not too great at searching for answers in the forums.

here is my question.

im trying to run power from the battery (or somewhere suitible under the dash) to power my amp. i have layed out the cable under the carpet and door trims on the drivers side, under the back seat (lift out the whole seat cushion) and into the boot.

really my question is where is the best place to connect my power wiring?

im sorry if im posting a similar thread

Only spot to connect a power wire for amps is straight off the battery
Making sure you have a inline fuse close to the battery terminal
Also adding another ground off the negative terminal helps on stopping alternator whine alittle

agreed mate, power striaght from the battery is the way to go. i personally would have worked front to back to give me abit of play room while installing but each to their own.

+1 to the above comments. Depending on what sized amp, speakers and sub you are running will depend what size fuse and power wiring you should use. Make sure that you ground from the battery with at least the same gauge as you are running to your amp.
