Hey Guys,

Looks like "Where is" has released a map pack V16 and has an up datable disc that looks to be compatible with the factory balkpunkt system.

Has anyone tried or knows anything about this? I'll be heading to Mitsubishi service in a few weeks and will ask them for help as well

is this the system in the gtv verada?

if you are still running the original disc from factory (circa 2001/2002 etc) you will need to send the box to Bosch to have the software updated before you can run the new disc release. I have V.12 (previous to current release) and have had this done. Costs $55 and all you do is send the box to them and destroy the original disc as this will wipe the software upgrade on the box

There are no visiual improvements unfortunately, still looks the 10 year crappy dated look but obviously upgrages new roads etc. Worth it if you use it I guess but I know alot out there that have this dont

So did you drive to mitsubishi or just rang bosch or droped it off at bosch?

He sent it to Bosch in Melbourne as i ended up buying the complete system from Rod.

Your right though when you said it is a novelty, i just put it in so i could have an extra screen to look at and another remote control plus Ralliarts weren't suppossed to have it so i did it break the rules.
