Hi guys
ive just pulled the auto off my DOHC and cant seem to workout how to remove the torque converter. Normally they are botled to the flywheel but in this case, the TC is flush mounted to the flywheel and there is only a 3-5mm gap between the flywheel and the back of the engine.
Would it be likley there is a cir-clip inside the dog gear of the TC?
Ive tried pulling it off with my hands (shut your filthy mouths) and next i was goign to try leavering with a large bar i have. I am not re-using this gear so damage isnt an issue, as i have manual converion pieces waiting.
Thanks in advance gentle gents
