Hi, I have a TL magna i brought for an engine,
what i need to know is what parts are need valued etc on the car, i need to get ride of it (had it for months at a mates place) and don't have alot of room for keeping parts while i try to sell them
so any imput on the more valued parts etc,
car had a total of 36000km on the clock, so everything is like new! except the dent on the rear drivers side where they didn't like the size of the boot and tried to make it a lot lot lot smaller

what i'd recommend, if you can with only 8 posts, there is a rule that you cant post in the WTB, FS, EOI threads to sell buy or express interest without a number of posts (someone tell me how many, i think its 25?) put all the parts you wish to sell into one long thread and say AUCTION, auction off the parts over 2 weeks or so and if you have left overs, go up again a few eweeks later. Take really good pics of what your selling, be ready for lots of qustions about postage and so forth.
Good luck :)

AS for what is "valued" etc, I'd be thinking along the lines of what is likely to be needed ...
So, anything at the front of car for fixing crash damage: front bar, esp the lights, fogs if it has em, radiator, bonnet, front guards, door mirrors maybe. The exterior door handles might be sellers, as they can be colour-coded better than the black handles on Tj and older.
Interior: fast glass, switchgear, climate unit, console panels, - (all these can go into older series as upgrades) cluster maybe. The actual heater box or the little actuators and sensors and looms which would allow an older manual air-con to get convered to climate control.
Steering pump and steering rack: these are an upgraded spec compared to older models - using parts/upgrades originally made for Ralliart Magna's. The steering has better "feel" due to different valve rates used in both the pump and the rack.
Fuel tank sender unit (and fuel pump, while you are at it). Pumps are OK as far as I know, but the fuel guage sender unit is prone to buggering-up.
If you had room for storage (which you say you don't): I'd say the drivers door trim and seat - these are most likely to get damaged or sag - so may be a market for them for folks wanting to freshen-up a car.
Your location is the limiting factor a bit: less of a market up your way, and freight to south or east would be pricey I would imagine. As stated above, you need to have been around AMC for a while before you have the right to sell parts in here.

yeah i don't mind paying the membership , $30 is worth it considering being able to sell the parts!
and realise the cost of freight will impact on my prices etc! but rather get something for the parts than nothing! if you know what i mean!
Thanks heaps for the info Elwyn,
i've got most the loom out drivers side, have engine mounts etc also and front guards etc, interior is like new, like i said 36000kms isn't alot on a car!

Was the smashed car an auto or a manual? Either way, transmission could be useful to someone. If auto, it will be "tiptronic" shifter, so that's desireable (may require ECU as well as the shifter for someone else to use - would need to search in here about that. If its a manual - that's sought-after, right there.
If it happens to have black carpet and felt lining the bootlid, you're also in for interest. You can alway bung a whole heap of stuff onto FleaBay, and se how you go.
Look for E-Go Couriers - they have webpage etc - and see if they cover Darwin - they have been heaps cheap for many members in here.
Headlining is another thing to try - they sag horribly in older models, and possibly the situation would be quicker to deteriorate in the Territory..... thus you may be able to flog to someone locally who is sick of thumb-tacking up the fluffy ceiling in their Magna - there's no way you could transport that item, it large and flimsy and easily damaged!
