yep.. my magna has a bigger boot than my old car which fitted them

You will need to do something like this with a box to make it fit right up to the back seat.

subs facing forwards or backwards? if forward, fail

In my old Falcon my subs sounded okay facing forwards but they failed forwards in the Magna.

i plan to face to them to boot and soundeadin the boot lid then carpet it

anyone herd of using roofing seal it looks the same a dynomat just 1/4 the price

flashtac, common alternative but prone to peeling off in an australian summer. also needs about 3 layers of it to do the job of 1 layer of dynamat, so it actually works out a similar cost, just harder to apply and more likely to fail :)

hows it called a roofing sealing if the shit peals off. hahaha puting carpet there as well shound help it stay there

MLV = Multiple Layered Vinyl paired with some Close Cell Foam works well to block out sound.
