My indicator switch started playing up last week on right turn signal. I went to my local dealer who agreed to replace it under warranty. Last night I couldnt drive the car as every time I went to indicate, my dash lights and I presume sidelights would flicker on and off. I rang them this morning and they said it had just arrived and will fit it tomorrow. They said it was only the second one they had ever had to replace.Will keep you posted on the outcome.

What I had (and still do) with my indicator, is when after completing a turn the automatic shut-off is so strong that the indicator momentarily lights up the other side before cutting out - so that both sides light up for one flash. I see this on the dash blinkers and assume the outside lights are doing the same.
I never bothered to replace it; I got used to it. I posted it here ages ago and others reported the same thing too.

I have the same problem with the switch for the opposite side being activated on the auto shutoff. I fixed it by putting a small piece of foam beween the stalk and the steering column and this seems to dampen this enough to stop this happening.

Got my indicator switch replaced today. They did the job while I waited. Took 30mins.
All working fine but the switch feels a lot different to the old one. No sharp click but a 'soft' feel to it.
All under warranty.

Also had my indicator switch replaced under Warranty, the Dealer stated that they had done a few, the New one definatley feels different and better.

I have the exact same problem. With the right indicator and with the parkers and dash lights flickering. Car is booked in tomorrow. i'm just waiting for them to say they cant find anything wrong with it because it only happens occassionally.
