Today i was driving along and then all of a sudden my car stalled at low revs, still drivible i discovered by using the accelerator and left foot braking i manged to complete my trip, i belive this kind of problem would be due a failure in the auto idle control as the engines performance didnt change at all.
any suggestions on where to start trouble shooting?

hey mate.. im not very technical.. but maybe a stall convertor issue, dont take my word buddy not extremely advanced in this field etc but could be a fault in the stall convertor!

Idle speed control motor (ISC) on the throttle body is responsible for most weird idle problems. Find it, clean its plug and socket. Buy a new one if no improvement. They tend to die suddenly. Mitsu, wreckers or contact Tufftr.
