Whats this part? I see it time to time in engine bays, and ill assume its to do with the cold air intake; as i cant see the standard snorkel?? sorry not the best picture, but cant find a better photo, so have to use lenda's

dave would be about right on the guessing scale, you didnt exactly give the best pic to judge from

You can tell the throttle body by the part near the inlet maniflold with all actuators, sensors, and pipes connected to it, thats air intake.. well the thermostat might be nearby, but no big pipe on it. SO the big pipe connected to the throttle body must be the incoming air... You can't mistake it for a coolant pipe or exhaust pipe, and its certainly not a fuel or brake line, or spark plug lead :)
