The tripmeter in my 30M Diamante shows the following: kms per litre, kms to empty, time driving and one other that seems to display average speed but im not sure as was on the motorway for an hour sitting on 100kms and it was only reading 85kms. what does the aussie made magna display on its tripmeter?

It's the average speed you travel. If you travel alot on the highway your average will be alot higher. City driving and your average will be crap. My average is 68km/hr and that's from a mix of city and highway.
If you haven't reset your computer for a while it would take a long time for the average to change. Sitting on 100km for an hour might not have been enough for it to change the average. Sitting on 100km for ten hours might only bump your average up to 86km/hr. If you reset the computer and start from scratch then your average will jump alot.
The oz ones have the odo, instant fuel usage, average fuel usage, km's to empty, rest time, average kms and time driven.

if it's like the aussie ones you just hold down the mode button until it beeps.
The ones in the later models have about 11:
1. ODO
2. Trip
3. Distance since time reset (at 199 hours)
4. ave fuel
5. inst fuel
6. total fuel since time reset
7. two hour rest count down
8. ave speed
9. range to empty
10. Speed warning set speed
11. total time since since reset
