I am trying to install a new head unit from my old car in to my 94 ts and looking at your wiring diagrams (http://www.installdr.com/Harnesses/Mitsubishi-Wiring.pdf ) the wiring colours dont match.
on my TS out from the dash is a plug (same shape as '1998-1999 and newer' plug in diagram with no 'c' and 'h' pins) and from that plug and a short (5cm) adapter going into the 'up to 1998-1999' shape.
but none of the wires on either plugs mach up with those in the diagram insted mine are as follows
looking at the wire end of the 'up to 1998-1999' shape plug
A Green white stripe
B none
C blue
D red green stripe
E black (fat wire, guessing earth)
F red white stripe
G red
H black
I none
J black white stripe
K red white stripe
L pink
M black white stripe
N red
can some one lead to an accurate diagram or fill in what each wire is. apparently it'll cost $45 just for a plug for my stereo so i am planning on just diy.

Do you have a test light?

That's all wrong!
Normally you have:
Fat black = earth.
Red = ignition on power.
Yellow = permanent power.
blue = aerial up/down.
Then you have 4 pairs for the speakers, same colour in each pair, but one with a stripe to denote speaker negative.

Green white stripe------ Dash Light
Blue white strip --------- Ignition Wire
Red green stripe-------- 12V
Black white stripe------- LH front speaker
Black -------------------- LH front speaker
Red white stripe-------- RH front speaker
Red---------------------- RH front speaker
Earth is a big black and yellow wire from the floor
I think that the wire code :)

Hmm I highly doubt it mate your magna would be a one off. I gave you a stock wiring information for a magna of the era. So that should be correct not sure what radio you have or what a prievous owner has bodge the wiring lol But if it all works then all good :)
