Hi all I have a TR Auto 4 cylinder EFI.
When I start it up it idles so fast I,m talking like 2000-2500. This will last for about 3 mins driving and longer if just idling with a few revs.
Is this normal????

Its because its cold. takes a few minute to start dropping. Happens on my KR. Starts cold at 2200 rpm, then slowly drops to between 500- 800 rpm.

I think 2000-2500 is a bit too fast and as you put it into drive and the car will drive by itself. But you can get the choke adjusted so the engine should be revving around 1500rpm when cold.
