In preparation to get the car to paint, how the hell to you get the rear door handles out? (the outside ones) I can get to one screw, but not the other near the rod? Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Chris

Easy. Take the 3 torq screws out of the catch on the door, push in into the door, and use a 10 mm "T" handle to take the other one out. Take the metal link off once the handle is moved off the door. TS door handles are hard to paint in one piece, but they do pull apart.

What max said, But I used a 1/4" 10mm with a wobbly end extension to get them out, the wobbly end on the extension gives you that little extra freeplay.
With the torq screws, always crack them first with a good lever. I tried doing it once with some Kincrome torq L handle things and it rounded all 3 lol.

The third gen rear handles have the same problem, need to move the lock to get to the rear handle bolt. At least the lock is held in by philips head screws, and the handles don't need painting. Such is progress. lol
