Hi all WOW just finished doing the rear mount on TR 4 cylinder.
I have replaced all other mounts except trans. The rear was BY FAR the hardest.
I have replaced the trans in this thing and if you put the two jobs on a scale I think the trans was easier.
The trans took me about 2 days.
That rear mount took me about 3 hours,, and I need a punching bag next to me.
The only way I could see to do it was I jacked it right put my big truck stands under it front and back.
I then took passenger side drive shaft out. you then can get the bracket that come from the motor to the mount off,,once that was off the 4 mount bolts are much easier to get at. I couldn't see any other way to get at the other mount bolts.
I suppose I could have tried a long extension for the through mount bolt ( if I went from the top )
BUT once the drive shaft was out the way from underneath it's not that hard to get at. The mount also just pops down through the opening.
