i've heard a few rumors that if u put 3.0 heads on a 3.5 u get more compression is it true and is it worth doing as im rebuilding my KH verada

Not that I've read about. Pretty sure the actual head's are exactly the same. (bar the camshaft variances)

I thought this to be the case aswell.
Sleepy, I think you might be thinking of the TR-TS astron head going on to a TM-TP astron motor.

As long as the heads are in good condition, it doesn't matter where they came from. Keep your 3.5 heads and rework them.

i would say not as the 3.5l has a higher desk height then the 3l

Use 6g75 heads with 75 cams. The heads flow really well and the CAMS should give you a nice gain in power. I am pretty sure the 74 auxiliaries will bolt up fine to a 75 head.

Yes, get 380 heads and cams :D :D

But if you get the 380 heads you will end up with lower comperssion yet again, check the thread by I think was Kurt where the heads were compared directly with the combustion chamber sizes, this will answer all
