Hi again! So it will fitt a turbo from FTO in a magna? The FTO is 2.6l (i think) V6, ad here are some details and pics!http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=42364

good thing is, gearbox is on the right side. Bad thing, its probably cheaper and better to modify the Magna motor

You'll need new manifold plates made up. Also the turbo would be WAYYY too small and there are too many small differences in the actuall body of the car (where pipes run) to make it a bolt on application.

Remember, do it once, do it RIGHT. Not half assed like this.

i think the FTO engine is two small for a car of the magna/diamantes size. your money would be better spent on building up a strong 3/3.5l and then boost, doesnt have to be huge.

T28 turbo... lol So small, you'd need two for a 3.5L to have any sort of top end. Different manifold plates required as TUFFTR said, and not to mention the whole manifold will probably need modifying due to the physical size difference between the 6A13 and the 6G74 engine, so you may as well get a custom manifold by the time you finish anyway... You'd also need to sort out your own ECU for it as the FTO one won't work, and I doubt half of the supplied oil fittings would work with the 6G74 engine either.

Short answer, no.
