Well Tuesday mornig start my car, fine. Drive to tafe, finish class and walk to my car, and my remote does not work, hmmm strange. Use the key to unlock the car, and the interiour light not working.
Go to start, and there is plenty of power going to the starter motor, but she just cranks but won't turn over. Havnt had a chance to properley look at it yet, but just seams strange that the remote for the door wasn't working. Went to try it thismorning and the remote is working again, but it still won't start. I'm stumped and need my daily back asap
It's a TF advance
oh and the speed alarm was reset and flashing, any help appriciated

Maybe look at your fusebox, specifically, the yellow covered set that houses two. My car went loopy when those fuses blew...

Well have determined that there is no spark. Anyone?

I had something similar happen to me recently. Plenty of juice to turn the starter over but no fire. Turned out to be the key barrel immobiliser sensor connection had disconnected.
Mine had spark but no fuel pump. Worth a try...

Have you tried another battery?
You might think theres enough power but maybe not enough to turn it over and you said that your remote didnt work, no interior light and speed alarm is resetting
I would swap with another battery and see what the go is
Might not be the problem but its a starting point :)

Same thing happened to me and my immobilizer was stuffed.
Whatever you do, don't take it to Mitsu. They charged me $450 to replace it.
I found out yesterday whilst I was at Mal's getting my heater core fixed that they sourced the part from HIM. He charged them $70 or something like that.
If you find out you need to replace something, speak to Mal. He ships everything :D

cheers, what part was it exactly? the black unit near the drivers Right knee? the car started yesterday and i drove it to work and back, but didnt start today :(
was yours just a simple case of plug and play? because doesnt it have to match the ECU?
Mal would you be able to shed some light if your reading this?

got mine to start today. found the fuse for the interior light blown, replace fuse car starts. WTF??? pull fuse out, car not start. how can the interior light stop the car from starting? prevent the keyless remote from working half the time and send the speed alarm going haywire? has anyone had a similar problem?
wow i guess TJtime you were right, i figured that would be impossible to cause all that havoc
