Depends on the offset. Plenty of guys here have superlows without scrubbing issues. Scrubbing seemed to be more of a problem on the TE/TF's though like you appear to have than on the later TH on, just make sure the wheel place picks out the right offset to compensate. I'm thinking +38ish on an 8inch wide rim.

Isn't it the tyres that scrub, not the wheels?
So mentioning what size tyre are you running would be more important I would think.

Do you know that 8.5" wide is probably defectable? In NSW you can only go 1" wider without an engineers certificate and only up to 8" wide for FWD or AWD.

I don't think lowered springs changes the suspension travel, so if it's going to scrub on 2" lowered springs, it will still scrub on factory height springs when the suspension compresses - just won't be likely to happen as often.

So if you can keep the tyre clear of guards & lips then it doesn't matter what size wheel you have, only the offset as Lugo pointed out.

Defs needs more information.

Im currently running coil overs which sit a bit lower than superlows, and they scrub a little when turning full lock, and im running 19x8.5 with a 35offset

Mine are 19x8 with 42 offset running king superlows and have no problems

I Just bought some 20x8.5 with 40 offset and I'm hoping the Super low King fronts and Low rears are ok!
