Hi guys, I am after any assistance to solve my problem.
The drivers side brake light in my 94 ts sedan is not working.
I have tried replacing with a new globe, no go, checked the fuse, fine, swapped the new globe into the indicator socket which worked.
The passenger and rear window brake lights work fine.
I checked the globe socket for bad connection and found no problem, it is clean and free of rust. There is no visible sign of broken or deteriorated wiring in the light housing.
Does anyone know where the best or first point to check with a multimeter to track the fault source.
Any correspondence would be greatly apreciated

Since the opp side brake light and the high-level brake light both work, the fault must lie somwhere in the wiring after the point that brake light wires split into: left + right + high-level.

Typically, the wires run down the drivers side of the car, up the rear drivers side wheel arch (inside the cabin) and enter the boot near the top of the drivers wheel arch, then split to opp sides of the car. Check if this is the case in your car - if the loom splits inside the boot to cross to pass side of car - OR - runs to drivers tail-light, then onwards to pass tail-light.

Its also possible that the whole drivers tail-light assembly is connected by one multi-wire plug, if this is teh case - look for bent/damaged/corroded pins at that connection, not just the bulb-holder.

Sorry, have only had one 2nd Gen briefly, and been in 3rd Gens a few yrs now - so I forget precise details for your car.
