Im trying to get at least 1 power window working in my car. I have a KR Verada which the enire underdash loom/dash and floor loom to the drivers seat has been replaed with a 1st gen diamante.
I had TUFFTR wiring mnaual for ages but that was just to get the car driving (fuel pump/tail lights) Now obviously the looms are very different, expecially since the diamante uses the eccs system and my KR doesnt but now has the controls for it under the dash, so .....
if i was to get KS door looms whch use the ECCS system woudl the plugs be simlar or the same (obivously some options wont be there in the KS but i would assume the plugs themselves would be the same) and if so, if i change the plugs do i have to change the window motor/ central locking mechanism? As i read it from the manual the ECCS system runs on 5v instead of 12v like eveyrhting else in my KR. If this ISNT the case, i woudl just find some KR door looms to mate up to my diamante dash loom, at least then i can get both front windows down.
Failing this how do i energise the power window circuit? I would assume the very thick wiring is the power window wire for all the doors, and assume its the BLUE wire that supplies power, i just can get the drivers window down.... let alone the others.
Any help on the matter would be much appreciated. Ive got a multmeter and ive jsut about worn it out along with my hair. driving me insane...
