i know this is a common unanswered question so here it is.

first off consult the manual and you will find a wiring diagram for the auto trans you will figure it out with wire coloers and everything. if that doesn't help

*the inhibitor plug is next to the selector on the auto trans.

*you will find on that female plug roughly 5 small wires and a row of 4 large wires. the 4 large wires are all you need shorting the rhs pair together or the lhs together one pair will give you reverse lights and the other need to be permanently shorted to allow the starter voltage through thus completing the starter circuit. i cut the reverse plug out of the manual loom and wired it to those wires so it will plug into my manual box.

sorry if i'm not specific i can be if that wasn't helpful enough. should have the box in tomorrow. i dont believe its worth swapping computer and looms. i had no choice as mine was set up with lpg eveywhere. anyway yeah thats that

This is the response I put up earlier today and have also posted many times before in several threads, others have also posted similar in many many posts but now that there is a spefic title perhaps will assist people to find the appropiate info

This also applies to TE - W, not withstanding that TL/W have some more work with speedo etc to be done

Inhibitor Switch, connect Black/yellow and Black/Red together, this is located on the black plug that plugs into the switch

Reverse lights, Black White and Red Blue, these do not matter which way they are wired into the new plug
