you could get a magnetic box stuck to the underside of the car somewhere out of sight/hard to get to. i had one of these on my old car, blended in so if you didn't know it was there you wouldn't find it. saved me a few times when i locked the keys in the car.

Really no where as you also need to think, if you decide of a place here on AMC then the whole world will know where your spare key is
You are better off just being more careful and if oyu do lock yourself out then call your local roadside assist and get them to open the car and then you can open the boot

Keep the spare key in your wallet that way you keep off the car and it safe :)

Plus one, This saved me heaps of times.....
I coat hangared my way into a mates camry once, after that he asked me to hang a spare key under his car.
He went and got one cut, as soon as I got under the car, I found one hung there by a previous owner....lol

you could do a james bond style flip down number plate and have the key velcro'd to the back of the plate or a little plastic box super glued behind it

Or zippy-tie a key ring to your front side repeaters wiring ( to stop it sliding) . And hang your key on another keyring off that.

best one of all is to remove the glass in the side mirror and put it behind there. just velcro it in there somewhere. easily pop the mirror out and put it back in if you ever need it.

or you could connect your central locking's "unlock" wire to a hidden pushbutton switch on the chassis. then hide the spare inside the car where it will stay clean . keys hidden under the car can get real grubby and corroded.
or maybe connect this same wire to a hidden reed switch and hide a small magnet somewhere on the body.

looking up the wiring diagram will reveal which wire will unlock the doors. this came about on our previous Magna where 50% of the time you opened the drivers door the horn would go off , but wouldnt do it from the passenegers door. i found the wire used by the BEM to activate the horn and snipped it, end of problem. horn still works fine from horn pad.
while there ran a wire to unlock doors.
