Hi all, a mate if mine is selling a TR GLX, it was owned by an old couple and has only done 125,000 k's, its in excellent condtion, with alloys factory mags and air con (needs regassing) paint is silver and perfect which is rare for a KR, being a GLX its a carbi 2.6 but runs great and no funny rattles, anyone have any idea what it worth? I told him about $2,000 as its so close to showroom condition

You'd be lucky to get $1000 for a Carby 2.6.

I mean, advertise it at $2000 and see if you get any bites, but the amount of cars you can get these days for $2000 is mind blowing, so a TR GLX in comparison is just worthless to an extent....
It's a shame especially if it has mint condition paint.....but that's the way of the world unfort....

EG My father's selling his EL wagon....$1500.....cruise, power windows, good motor...etc.....can't go wrong for the money!
Best thing to do is put her up on ebay and gumtree....it's sure to sell no worries if it present well. Overseas students dont really care what motor it has...
