I was wondering if anyone can assist with info or tools to remove front wheel bearings on a 1994 TR magna 2.6 . I have a factory manual and of course they use a special tool for the job. Anyone have such a tool or info on how best to remove the front wheel bearings? Really appreciate any advice..
Thanks. - Bruce (Melbourne).

all you need is a press or a puller to take the stud part off
.... remove the steering hub and knuckle from the car
there is an exploded view on page 193 of the gregories repair manual
the studs section presses out of the steering knuckle /hub
there are now two types of bearings availiable
the typical ball bearing in a plastic race two per side
or a sealed bearing that can be pressed in taking
the place of the ball and race cones
Another way
with the cv outer nut undone
I have used levers of different thicknesses to ease a hub off
but you do damage the seals
you use the levers as opposites and rotate the stud part
till the stud part eases off

Yep, press and adapter bits required. No way around that. Not a DIY on the front lawn type of job.
